Contractual Terms
I acknowledge that the information provided contains no false information, and if any details were to change, that it is my sole responsibility to update the information.

I certify that I am the owner of the pet(s) listed on the enrollment form and I am authorized to make decisions about my pet(s).

Videos or photos of sessions may be published on social media for educational or promotional purposes. I acknowledge that I, my dog (s) and family may be included in photos or videos.

I attest that my pet is fully vaccinated against Rabies, Parvo and Distemper, as well as maintaining flea/tick/heartworm preventative. I will provide a copy of the vaccination record and provide Hair of the Dog Walkers with updates regarding core vaccinations.

I attest that my pet is registered with the city of New York and will provide updated dog license tags and rabies tags on my pet's collar or harness to avoid any tickets that may be issued. If no tags are attached and a ticket is issued, it is my sole responsibility to make payment for the amount of the issued ticket.

I understand that I, the client, am responsible for providing the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of my dog, including but not limited to a sturdy, well fitted harness or collar, and separate identification tag and city licensing tag. I authorize any necessary purchase for the satisfactory performance of services. Costs of all purchases and related service fees will be reimbursed to Hair of the Dog Walkers LLC within 48 hours.

I understand that enrollment entails an ongoing weekly charge for the pickup windows I am regularly reserving, regardless of whether or not my dog attends the walks reserved for them. I am and will remain responsible for the costs of my reserved pickup windows.

I understand that Hair of the Dog Walkers shall notify the client of an emergency immediately. If in my absence, my pet should become injured or ill, I authorize Hair of the Dog Walkers to contact my veterinarian for treatment. If unavailable, I give permission to have my pet taken to the nearest animal hospital for treatment. I acknowledge responsibility for all charges incurred.

I understand the Hair of the Dog Walkers must obtain keys, access codes or entry devices for entrance and pick-up. Hair of the Dog Walkers shall keep all objects and information confidential.


I understand the Hair of the Dog Walkers guarantees service except in weather conditions deemed to be potentially hazardous to the dogs/walkers. We may shorten walks at our discretion, according to extreme weather conditions, ie heavy snow, rain, heat or poor air quality index.

Clients must notify Hair of the Dog Walkers of any cancellation 24 hours prior to the agreed upon walk time, or the walk will be charged in full.

All charges are non-refundable, and will be charged weekly at the end of the first service week, and weekly thereafter.

Client agrees to give Hair of the Dog Walkers two business weeks' notice in the event of termination of services.

Hair of the Dog Walkers reserves the right to terminate any client for aggression issues.

All terms and conditions of this agreement shall be binding between the client and Hair of the Dog Walkers for all pets listed on the enrollment form and services performed today and in the future until services are no longer required.

Training Agreement
I understand that the consultant will work directly with me and my pet to impart contemporary animal behavior knowledge that best fits our needs, and that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skills on the part of the pet and owner.Behavior is not static; an animal will not continue to perform even trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Especially in cases involving any type of aggression, although behavior may be modified, the dog is never considered "cured." A pet's behavior is ultimately the owners responsibility. Consultant will make every reasonable effort to help us attain goals but makes no guarantees of performance on the part of Client or pet as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation.
